JOHN MONTGOMERY IS A VICE PRESIDENT OF PRIVATE CLIENT SERVICES AT SRS CAPITAL ADVISORS.

John has dedicated his 44 year career to helping his clients achieve “financial freedom”. John joined SRS in 2024, merging his business into SRS to ensure his clients are well taken care of after his eventual retirement.

His career started in 1981 with Dean Witter, then Kidder Peabody, before becoming independent in 1991 with what is now Cetera. In 2014, John established his own RIA firm in South Carolina.

After graduating from Amherst College in 1972, John was a PGA golf professional prior to joining Dean Witter in 1981. John is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
